We’re here, we’re weird, come join us! Aura House Energy Exchange program

Volunteering 3 hours a week + Making a Positive Impact on Yourself and Others

= Energy Exchanging @ AURA

Volunteering your time in community can be an incredibly rewarding experience. and the joy of making a difference is priceless. ✨

Aura’s Energy Exchange program facilitates meaningful connections in our community for those:

  • Who have the time to volunteer in one of our Brampton or Bolton locations.

  • Who want to have access to yoga and pilates classes on our schedule.

  • Who may not otherwise be able to budget for membership costs.

Energy Exchangers are the friendly faces who say “welcome home” to members on arrival, and assist to provide a safe, welcoming & warm environment. They get unlimited access to all Sanctuary or Loft member classes (Yoga, Meditation, Mat Pilates & Barre), community-based events, and AURA team events, which Anna-Lisa refers to as “the best part [of being an energy exchanger]”.

“The moment I walk into the space I feel safe and wanted. This is the feeling I try to extend to our members.” Falisha, who has been an Energy Exchanger since 2022, loves to keep busy and she enjoys seeing things clean; she believes our members enjoy it too! When asked what she loves most about being an Energy Exchanger, Falisha expressed, “Being able to do that for the studio and our members makes my heart happy.” And we love happy hearts, they’re contagious! 💞

When you work for and with great people, it makes coming to ‘work’ so much better.

“Lisa and Diana make the experience for the members the best it can be! I love being a part of a wonderful studio and being able to help its awesome owners.” Kim also loves talking with members and helping them choose what classes might work best for them. She also enjoys being able to support them through everything, even in those hard times in life. Kim is proud to be an Energy Exchanger for The Aura House “because the owners are so amazing and care a lot about the people and making things special for them.”

Being an Energy Exchanger could be a way to become more involved as a member of the AURA House, just like Anna-Lisa. After spending a little over a year in the position and immersing herself in what she refers to as “the studio’s vibrant community,” she shared that she:

“became inspired by the training courses offered and decided to pursue them.” Anna-Lisa joined the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program in January of 2024, and after successfully completing the program, she became one of our regular yoga instructors. 🪷 She would “highly recommend becoming an Energy Exchanger at The Aura House, if you’re seeking a positive and uplifting community. As an Energy Exchanger, you’ll be part of a supportive, like-minded group in a space that encourages growth and connection.” 💖

Whether you have a desire to grow with us and become involved in various capacities, or just love being a dedicated Energy Exchanger, we support and welcome you!
