An Antidote for when too many things feel ‘up in the air’
How is it August 30th already? That’s the funny thing about time … whether we like it or not, it passes. That’s what makes feeling present each day a special and worthwhile practice.
I myself have had a hard time of that this past month, truthfully. Between New Mom life, being at the studio more often, and trying to balance ALL of the things … simply functioning is a miracle. We all have our things that make simply functioning a miracle though, don’t we?
My antidote to having so many things up in the Air is finding a way to experience groundedness. Choices and commitments are, to me, that experience. Once I’ve made a choice about what I’m going to commit to, and I put things in place to support that choice … THEN things start to feel more settled.
The most recent set of choices that needed to be made for the studio were all around Fall schedule, which is FINALLY set! OH MY GOODNESS, I feel the grounded kind of excited for what’s to come.
We’ve welcomed 5 additional teachers to our team!
Parool Mehta will be giving us a Sunday Morning Yoga practice!
Sherry Red Manuel & Chelcie Mendonca will be guiding us in Meditation on Monday evenings
Deepika Ahluwalia will be offering a Slow Flow Community Class on Thursdays
Mary Ann Cusi will be adding a new yoga class to the schedule on Thursday evenings too!
… and have added NEW morning classes and different evening time slots to explore ✨
We’re still working out the details of September/October special events too but I will update you on those as soon as I can!
