Countdown to Community Week: 5 Reasons You Should Come to Community Week at The Aura House
The holidays are here and a new year is quickly approaching. Community Week is a way for us to welcome new members into our space, and to thank our existing members for sticking with us. Building community is the most important part of what we do, and it just feels right to honour that. So, we know why we host Community Week, but do you know why you should come join it? Here are our top 5 reasons why you should come to Community Week 2021!
5. Meet all of our teachers and try their offerings at a reduced rate
We know it can be nerve-wracking to try a new class with an unfamiliar instructor, especially if you’re limited on time or try to practice within a budget. Community week offers the chance for you to familiarize yourself with the teachers on our team at a reduced community rate so that you can dip your toes in the water before you dive in. We know and trust in our instructors, but we also understand that it’s important for you to build that knowledge and trust on your terms as well. With a full schedule, free virtual classes for all, and discounted rates for our drop-in classes and membership options, there’s no better time in the year for you to get acquainted.
4. Get attuned for the new year with speciality appointments
Yoga is a big part of our community culture at The Aura House, but its far from being the only thing we do. In addition to yoga, we offer movement and meditation classes, oracle card readings, reiki, and sound healing appointments. As part of our Community Week offerings, you can receive a 20% discount on Aroma Reiki appointments with Kristine if you book for Community Week and 10% off if you book into January. But that’s not all. You can also get 10% off Crystal Reiki & Oracle Card Reading appointments with Diana if you book for Community Week, or 20% off if you book for December and January. Head into the new year with a feeling of balance and grounding.
3. A more affordable way to practice
The offerings that our teachers and practitioners share are of high value, but we totally understand the thrill of a deal and desire to find more affordable ways to practice. Community Week is a great way to explore the offerings we have so that you can gain a full understanding of the true value behind each practice.
2. Spending time with the community
Entering the new year with a community of likeminded people in your corner is truly invaluable. Many of us have experienced the cliquey exclusivity of some yoga studios, which is why we try our hardest to make sure that is never an experience you’ll find at The Aura House. Our sense of community is strong, and after a pandemic that left many of us longing for connection with other people, it’s more important now than ever before. By joining Community Week, you open the doors to creating those connections with people from all walks of life who can both understand where you’re coming from, and open your eyes to new ways of looking at things. We’ll gather over practices that help us feel balance both physically and mentally, and part ways feeling a much deeper sense of connection.
1. The gift to yourself that you didn’t even know you needed
The holidays are a time of giving. We give our loved ones and those around us our time and energy, and can often leave ourself scraping the bottom of the barrel as we search for time and energy to give ourselves. Community Week is the perfect opportunity for you to return to yourself in preparation for the new year. Give yourself the gift of practice, breath, movement, healing, and connection this community week. And if you find that gifting yourself feels even better than you anticipated, just know that during community week, you’ll also receive 10% off all of our crystals & local maker products in the The Aura Store ;)
As we settle down from the holidays and start to gear up for the new year, we will be waiting with open doors and open arms for you to join us here at The Aura House. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. More than anything, we want this Community Week to be an enjoyable experience for all. We hope to see you soon!
